To those how know me, it is no mystery what I do everyday. I watch anime, play games and browse the internet looking for more anime and games. But what exactly am I doing? What shows am I watching? What shows have I dropped? What am I currently playing? How on Earth am I going to play all these games? Why is my backlog of anime finally receding rather than growing?
I am in the process of finishing/catching up on currently airing anime and in a paralyzed state regarding games (too many, cannot compute). I'm finding that setting up a loose schedule for anime has fared me well through Fall 2014 so I am considering working up something more solid for games as well. Perhaps keep up on newer released games while plunking away at my backlog in between launches?
According to AniChart (my go-to for anime seasons) there were 48 full length shows and 8 short series. I gave most of them a shot unless they were ongoing shows I was not interested in. For a more detailed list, check out My Anime List (MAL).
Lastly, I'm kind of in a funk regarding "achievements" in games. I really like Xbox's Gamerscore and PSN's Trophies and find Steam's recognition for overcoming great gaming feats to be lacking in comparison. I guess I don't mind that Nintendo doesn't have a similar feature (does it?) but I do get a certain amount of satisfaction out of seeing my accomplishments more clearly (but steam sale games are so much cheaper ;-;). I want points not badges!
And this is how I'll start my year! I'm hoping I can keep up with regular and interesting posts and maybe pictures. To be continued!
